With the final exams over, we (lukhaas of BE IT 2005 batch) had nothing better to do. It all started with an idea to have an online blog/forum where we all could share our lives with each other. Nothing concrete was working out as we weren’t sure of what we were looking for. A BE IT website? Nope, we wanted a platform to interact with each other. Later in the discussion I remembered I had registered a domain vesit.com essentially to open an Alumni Forum few months back but things didn’t work out. So the domain was left unutilized. We decided to utilize this domain for our “interaction platform”. We chalked out a small plan and were all set to go.

I came back home that day and started gathering information and things needed to put the site online. Out of curiosity I checked the logs of vesit.com for past few months. I noticed the site had some traffic (mostly people searching for VESIT Alumni). A thought passed my mind, wont it be unfair to use this domain exclusively for “BE IT 2005”? What about the 100s of other users who reach this website looking for VESIT Alumni?

Within minutes I was sure what was needed to be put up here.

I sincerely hope you find all your lost VESIT friends here.
