Please read through these simple guidelines before you post. Following the guidelines makes life easier for everyone.
Some of the regular posters have been given moderator privileges. Whilst the forum moderators don't rule with an iron fist, they will take appropriate action to remind people of the guidelines and may, if considered necessary, ban persistent offenders.
1. You agree, through your use of this Forum, that you will not use this Discussion Forum to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, racist, has the propensity to promote racial intolerance or otherwise violative of any law.
2. You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by this Discussion Forum. However, this does not mean that you cannot post articles or paragraphs thereof from third party sources for the purpose of fair comment or criticism. Such articles should only be posted in their original worded version and NOT an edited version. Such articles should include a reference to the original source of the posted text and it's author. If you are unsure of the legality of anything you are considering posting, you should contact Forum Admin or a Moderator for advice. There are severe penalties for breach of Intellectual Property Rights (Copyright) and Forum Admin and Moderators will assist law enforcement authorities to identify any person who breaches such laws.
3. You also agree that you will not post images in the forum that utilise "hotlinking" methods or any other method that employs the theft of bandwidth from any other website, bulletin board, forum or online web property.
4. You agree that you will not promote, advertise or place a link to any commercial product, website, ezine, list or private website without the express permission of Forum Admin or a Moderator.
5. You also agree that you will not harass, harangue, abuse or intimidate any other member of this forum or the staff. Further, you will not continue to send email to any other member of the forum if the recipient objects to the receipt of this email. This section deos not apply to Forum Admin or Moderators.
6. You agree to respect the opinion of others who post in this forum and their right to have an opinion of their own on any subject deemed relevant by Forum Admin and or Moderators. Further, you will not resort to practices mentioned in elsewhere in these rules as a result of the opionion/s another individual may express.
7. You agree to maintain/register only ONE (1) identity/user id/nickname/account in this Forum and that you will not maintain accounts for multiple identities or assign your user login or password to a third party without the express permission of Forum Admin or a Moderator.
8. You agree that you will maintain a valid email address that can be used to contact you directly by Forum Admin or Moderators for the purpose of Forum administration and control.
9. You also agree to indemnify VESIT Alumni forums, its staff, forum moderators, forum admin, partners and affiliates against any lawsuit, legal proceedings, class actions or attempts to recover compensation brought by you or any other person/entity/group for any purpose or reason, as a result of your actions in this forum, post made by you, opinion expressed or email transaction made as a result of your forum membership.
